Description
ESL – Beginners is aimed at developing the learners’ ability to communicate and participate within their local community. This course also has a focus on life-skills to assist learners who are significantly disadvantaged by their lack of English skills. This course also includes excursions to historical and cultural venues and community organisations to heighten learners’ awareness of the community around them. Pathways from this program include K.Y.M. ESL Intermediate Program, CGEA, further study within the TAFE system and Learn Local sectors through AMES (CGEA, CELL, CSWE).
