Pathways to Life
Description
Pathways to Life is a program specifically designed for people with a disability wishing to improve life skills and literacy and numeracy skills. This program is delivered over three days, students are welcome to enroll in all three sessions or select an individual session;
Group 1 Mondays – developing soft skills such as communication, listening, speaking, interpersonal skills, managing people, leadership, personal habits and more delivered through interactive activity based learning
Group 2 Tuesdays – Literacy and Numeracy Skills for everyday life including money, budgeting, time along with building skill development toward pathways such as Certificate
in Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy (CIALN)
Group 3 Fridays– Life Skills, includes practical application such as travel training, excursions within the local community, guest speakers, learners permit preparation, nutrition, everyday cooking, healthy relationships and more.
